Obama leading in yet another race

You've probably already seen this, but we got behind with our shows on the Tivo. Stephen Colbert is promoting a virtual primary election on DonorsChoose.org in which you "vote" by making a donation to Pennsylvania's public schools in the name of your preferred candidate. As of this morning, Obama people have donated $124,136 and Clinton people only $23,563.

I'm sure you're all as shocked as I am about the news the "Project Runway" is moving from Bravo to the the Lifetime channel. There is one more season on Bravo--which they are casting for now and will run in July--and Lifetime wants to air another season in November. I agree the majority of the Runway community in thinking that Lifetime is not a good fit for the show and that this will mean a quick decline. We also can't believe they can put together two seasons back-to-back so quickly. Doesn't look good.

This morning I mailed the checks off and we joined the "Friends" group of our local public library (tax deductible). Always a good thing to do, particularly for those of you with the little kids. Your public library needs your support. I did not check the box saying I wanted to volunteer, although I was tempted to. One local organization at a time, don't you think?
