Let's give BA something else to blog about--What do you really want?

Well, BA outed one of my schmaltzy posts in his much-more-popular blog, but I've just gotten inspiration for getting revenge. Over on his much-more-popular blog, Mo Rocca (of The Daily Show fame) answers the question he gets asked second-most-frequently in airports: What do you want to do? I'll answer the question in same spirit as Mo did.

1. I want to appear as a guest on The Daily Show. I think I'd prefer this to The Colbert Report because I'm not sure how well I'd hold up under Stephen's mockery. I actually think this is something I could do if I devoted several years to writing the kind of book that would get me on the show. I'm just not sure I want to devote several years to writing that book.

2. I want to be invited to give a paper at a conference in another country--and get all my expenses paid. I think I've got a better chance of appearing on The Daily Show than achieving this one, but, then I don't think Mo's got much of a chance of getting his #1 wish either.

3. Someday I want to execute a perfect tango with MAH in a public place. I want witnesses. I'm telling you, as far as dancing goes, I think the tango is it. In my experience taking dance lessons, it is hands down the most fun dance to do. Take tango lessons. You won't be sorry.

Wait--didn't BA actually do one of the "Bucket List" posts? Was that one of his lists? Things he wanted to do? Damn! And I thought I had him. Well, how about the rest of you, in the spirit of Mo, what are things you want to do?
