Last night we tried out a new/old restaurant here in the Boro. (It's an Italian restaurant, of course.) "Old" in that it has been around for a long time--we had our rehearsal dinner there--but "new" in that it had shut down and opened up again here in town. (It used to be way the hell over on the other side of town and out for a bit. It used to take us at least . . . fifteen minutes to get there. Now it takes more like . . . ten. That's life in the Boro.
Anywhooo . . . we were uncertain about whether it would still have the high quality of food that it used to. The answer is a resounding "yes." In fact, it may be even better. And our server was fantastic. They have pizza too, which looked good on other people's tables. (Oh, and yes, the Boro is supposed to be getting a Pizza Grille--and super close to our house too, but that's another post.) The prices are a bit high (for the Boro) but it's worth it. And, like many places here, it's BYOB, which helps keep the cost down.
So, yes, this is good news and bad news, as the title says. With spring upon us (although a rainy one), we can get back to walking (which had been curtailed during the miserable winter months), but still you have to do a hell of a lot of walking to make up for a plate of chicken parmagiano!
